Crime Lab Funding

At her blog today, Jan Burke alerts us that funding for the Coverdell National Forensic Sciences Act is currently being debated in the Senate.

If you're in the U.S., please consider phoning your Senators to encourage them to increase funding for this bill. As Jan notes at her blog, "The Coverdell Act is not a partisan issue -- the legislation establishing these grants was passed unanimously by both the House and the Senate. Underfunded labs affect everyone."
